A WordCamp that everyone has been looking forward to, WordCamp Asia 2024 came to a great end. As the official media partner for WordCamp Asia 2024, I am very happy to stand for the event. However, I was unable to attend the WordCamp in person because of my reasons.
I have promoted it on my social media a lot about the event since I am an official media partner of WordCamp Asia 2024. I was really missing every moment I was checking on my Twitter feed.
When I was promoting WordCamp Asia so I also bumped into the contributor stories featured section, so I submitted my contributor story and guess what? My story has been featured in WordCamp Asia 2024 Contributor Stories.
A huge number of great WordPress fans from around the world attended WordCamp Asia 2024. The first day was for people who helped out. In Taipei, Taiwan, on the second and third days, there were 28 long talks, 10 lightning talks, 5 talks from special speakers, 2 workshops, and 2 panel discussions. These took place in halls named Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, Track 4, and WorkShop.
Day 1: The Contributor Day
“Contributor Day” was the first day of the event. Everyone who is taking part adds something to the WordPress community today. We all know that WordPress is an open-source tool, which means that anyone can use it. Most of its resources come from the community. Anyone, no matter how much knowledge or skill they have, can take part in this Contribution Day.
Several hundred WordPress users helped out in different ways at this year’s WordCamp Asia 2024 Contributor Day.
Day 2: First Day of Event
The second day, March 8, began with a huge influx of people. Also, after people registered, the event began with a time for open networking. The welcome speech took place in Track 1. There were 24 presentations by great guests, 1 panel discussion, and 1 workshop in total.
Day 3: Second Day of Event
On the last day of WordCamp Asia 2024, some interesting events happened, such as a talk with Matt Mullenweg, the founder of WordPress. Also, there were five halls: Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, Track 4, and Workshop Hall. There were 22 talks, one workshop, and a group discussion.

Manila, Philippines will host WordCamp Asia 2025
Finally, the WordCamp Asia 2025 event is set to take place in Manila, Philippines, next year. It will happen in February 2025. You can also fill out the form and join the organising team if you want to help plan the event.
